Introduction
You want to start a YouTube channel, but you have two problems:
You don't want to show your face.
You hate the sound of your own voice.
In the past, this meant you couldn't be a creator. But in 2026, "Faceless Channels" are some of the highest-earning properties on the internet. Channels like Daily Dose of Internet, Alux, and The Infographics Show make millions without a specific "influencer" personality attached to them.
The best part? You don't need a team of animators anymore. You just need the right AI Stack.
In this guide, I will walk you through exactly how to build a Faceless Channel from scratch using 5 specific AI tools. We will cover scripting, voiceovers, visuals, and editing.
Building a YouTube channel takes time. If you need immediate income while you build your side hustle, don't ignore your main career. I recently wrote a full guide on how to automate your job search to apply to 50 jobs in 10 minutes, using AI tools like Simplify and Teal."
Phase 1: Finding Your "Golden" Niche
Most people fail because they pick a niche that is too broad (like "Fitness") or too boring.
You need a niche that has high search volume but low competition. Don't guess ask AI.
The ChatGPT Niche Prompt:I want to start a faceless YouTube channel. Give me 10 niche ideas that have high CPM (ad revenue) and are visual-heavy. Focus on topics like Technology, Luxury, History, or Psychology. For each niche, suggest 3 viral video title ideas."
Top 3 Recommended Niches for 2026:
AI News & Tutorials: (Like this blog!)
True Crime / Mystery: People love long-form storytelling.
Luxury & Future Tech: "Top 10 Mega-Projects of 2030."
Phase 2: The Script (The Backbone)
A pretty video with a bad script will flop. A bad video with a great script can still go viral.
We are not just going to ask ChatGPT to "write a script." That produces robotic, boring text. We need to engineer the prompt for Retention.
Tool:
The "Viral Script" Prompt: Write a 1,500-word YouTube script for a video titled: 'Why The Saudi 'Line' City Will Fail'.
Tone: Dramatic, investigative, and fast-paced.
Structure:
1. The Hook (0:00-0:30): Start with a shocking fact or question to grab attention immediately.
2. The Context: Explain what the project is.
3. The Conflict: Why is it controversial?
4. The Resolution/Conclusion.
Do not use flowery language. Write like a YouTuber speaking to a friend. Use short sentences."
(Pro Tip: Always read the script out loud. If you stumble over a sentence, delete it.)
Phase 3: The Voice (The Soul)
Please, stop using the robotic "TikTok Lady" voice for long videos. Viewers hate it. You need a voice that sounds human, breathes, and pauses.
Tool: [suspicious link removed] (Freemium)
Go to Speech Synthesis.
Choose a pre-made voice (I recommend "Adam" for serious topics or "Rachel" for storytelling).
Paste your ChatGPT script.
Crucial Step: Adjust the "Stability" slider. Lower stability (around 35%) makes the voice more expressive and less robotic.
Hit Generate and download the MP3.
Phase 4: The Visuals (The Eye Candy)
You have audio, now you need video. You have two options here:
Option A: The "Stock Footage" Route (Best for Business/News) If you are talking about real-world events, you need real clips.
Search: If your script says "cities," search for "Drone shot city 4k."
Option B: The "AI Generation" Route (Best for Stories/Horror) If you are telling a story about the future or history, create unique images.
Tool:
orMidjourney (Free alternative).Leonardo.ai Prompt: "A cinematic wide shot of a futuristic cyberpunk city in the year 2050, neon lights, 8k resolution, photorealistic 16:9."
Phase 5: The "Talking Head" (Optional but Powerful)
If you want to build trust, having a "person" helps, even if they aren't real.
Tool:
Upload a photo of a generated character (or use their avatars).
Upload your ElevenLabs audio.
HeyGen will animate the lips and face to match the audio perfectly.
Note: This is exactly how I create the videos for the Daily Tool Guide social media!
Phase 6: Putting It All Together (Editing)
You don't need expensive software like Adobe Premiere Pro.
Tool:
Drag your Voiceover onto the timeline.
Drag your Visuals on top to match what is being said.
The Secret Sauce: Use Auto-Captions.
Click "Text" -> "Auto Captions."
Style them to look like MrBeast or Hormozi style (big, yellow/white text).
Captions keep people watching even if the sound is off.
Phase 7: The Click (Thumbnail & Title)
You can have the best video in the world, but if nobody clicks, it doesn't matter.
Tool:
The 3 Rules of High-CTR Thumbnails:
Less is More: No more than 3 words of text.
Emotion: The face (even an AI face) should show shock, fear, or happiness.
Contrast: Use bright colors (Red, Green, Yellow) against dark backgrounds.
Conclusion: The 30-Day Challenge
The only difference between a channel with 0 subscribers and 100,000 subscribers is consistency.
You now have the stack:
Idea: ChatGPT
Voice: ElevenLabs
Visuals: Midjourney/Pexels
Edit: CapCut
Your Challenge: Post 1 Short or Long-form video every day for 30 days. Don't worry about the views on day 1. Worry about the library you are building for day 30.
